Gemini for Cloud Architects

I recently completed the Gemini for Cloud Architects course, which focused on leveraging Google Cloud’s generative AI assistant, Gemini, to streamline cloud infrastructure management. The course covered how Gemini can assist administrators in provisioning, managing, and optimizing cloud resources, with a particular focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Through interactive demonstrations, I explored how to use AI-driven prompts to explain infrastructure configurations, deploy GKE clusters, and modify existing cloud environments efficiently.

A key highlight was the hands-on lab, where I experienced how Gemini enhances the GKE deployment workflow by providing intelligent suggestions and automation. The course also provided insights into the evolution of Duet AI into Gemini, showcasing its capabilities in cloud automation and AI-assisted DevOps. By the end, I gained practical experience in using AI-powered tools to simplify cloud architecture tasks, making infrastructure management more efficient and scalable.
