Gemini for Security Engineers

I recently completed the Gemini for Security Engineers course, which explored how Google Cloud’s AI-powered assistant, Gemini, enhances cloud security operations. The course covered deploying workloads in Google Cloud, leveraging Gemini to detect security misconfigurations, and applying AI-driven remediation strategies. It demonstrated how generative AI can assist security engineers in proactively identifying vulnerabilities and strengthening cloud security postures through automated insights and recommendations.

A key component of the course was the hands-on lab, where I worked with Gemini to analyze and correct security misconfigurations in a cloud environment. The training provided practical exposure to AI-assisted security automation, showcasing how Gemini simplifies compliance checks and improves threat detection and response. Additionally, it detailed the transition from Duet AI to Gemini, reinforcing its role as an AI-driven security companion for modern cloud infrastructures.
